SCHULTE LANE

Full remodel | Interior | Exterior | Kitchen | Bathrooms

This elegant Spanish-style home had great bones—a beautiful open layout and timeless character—but needed updating, more natural light, and careful attention to its history of mold damage and prior remediation work.

Working closely with the owners, we preserved the existing footprint while transforming the feel of the home. New flooring and custom carpentry work elevated the interiors, and thoughtful design changes opened the home up to significantly more natural light. The primary suite became a true retreat—a spa-inspired bathroom, a custom walk-in closet, and a private sauna tailored to the way this family actually lives.

Given the home's history, we also applied Building Biology principles to the exterior wall assembly, ensuring the building envelope was properly detailed to manage moisture and protect against the conditions that had caused damage in the past.

The result is a bright, airy, and genuinely healthy home—one that looks beautiful and is built to stay that way.
